World Statistics Day Event – Organized by the Department of Mathematics, İzmir University of Economics
The Department of Mathematics at İzmir University of Economics will host an event to celebrate World Statistics Day on Monday, October 20, 2025, at 13:00 in the Multi-Purpose Hall, Block D.
Our invited speaker will be Prof. Dr. Serkan ERYILMAZ, Rector of Atılım University, who will deliver a talk titled “Statistics in the Age of Artificial Intelligence: Requirements and Trends in the Context of Education and Research.”
In addition, Prof. Dr. İsmihan BAYRAMOĞLU, a faculty member of our department, will participate as the host speaker of the event.
Anyone interested is more than welcome to attend.
