Official website of Math 153 Calculus I Course

This course aims to build fundamentals of calculus and its applications for engineering. Topics include: Real functions: Limit and continuity, transcendental functions, trigonometric and hyperbolic functions. Derivatives: Differentiation rules,  curve sketching, maxima and minima, mean value theorem, L'Hopital's rule.  Integration: Indefinite and definite integrals, finding areas, volumes, and arc lengths, surface areas of revolution, integration techniques, improper integrals.
