BERE-2009 aims to bring together mathematicians, statisticians and bio-scientists who apply mathematical modeling techniques in solving their biological or life-sciences problems. With this symposium we also aim to support the initiation of connections between university researchers and bio-sciences related institutes. In addition to plenary speakers, contributions from participants in parallel sessions will constitute the main part of the conference.
